Hans-Egon Bender

Hans-Egon Bender (born October 3, 1933 in Idar-Oberstein ) is a German lawyer and former judge at the Federal Social Court .

Life

After graduating from high school, Hans-Egon Bender studied law in Mainz , Frankfurt am Main and Munich . After successfully passing the first and second state examinations in law (1957/1962), he initially worked as a lawyer in Koblenz, before moving to the legal department of the Second German Television , and later to the legal and human resources department of the Dornier-Werke .

In February 1965, Bender joined the judicial service of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate and became a court assessor at the regional court and later at the district court in Mainz. Since September 1970 he worked in social justice, initially seconded to the State Social Court of Rhineland-Palatinate , where he was appointed to the State Social Court Council in May 1971.

He was appointed judge at the Federal Social Court on January 18, 1974. There Bender was in the 7th Senate for employment promotion law and unemployment insurance , and in the 5th Senate from the beginning of 1980 for the miners ' insurance , accident and pension insurance for workers responsible. Most recently Bender was deputy chairman of the 5th Senate. From July 1978 to the end of June 1982 he was also a member of the judges' council and, since September 1981, a member of the documentation office commission.

The retirement took place at his own request in April 1997.

Hans-Egon Bender lives in Kassel.
