Hans-Georg Lehmann

Hans-Georg Lehmann (born May 11, 1928 in Brandenburg an der Havel ) is a former German functionary of the GDR block party LDPD . He was chairman of the Potsdam district association of the LDPD.

Life

After attending elementary and middle school Lehmann completed an apprenticeship in agriculture . In 1944 he graduated as a state-certified farmer. Then he was drafted into the army for military service.

In 1946 Lehmann joined the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP, from 1951 LDPD). From 1950 to 1952 he was mayor of Stölln and from 1952 to 1957 deputy chairman of the council of the Rathenow district . In 1957 Lehmann took part in the first course for state officials at the German Academy for Political Science and Law in Potsdam , which he graduated with a degree in political science.

From 1952 to 1957 he was chairman of the Rathenow district association of the LDPD. From 1957 to 1959 he acted as district secretary of the LDPD in Potsdam, from 1959 to 1989 as chairman of the Potsdam district association of the LDPD. From 1960 to 1990 he was also a member of the central executive committee of the LDPD.

From 1958 to 1990 he was a member of the Potsdam district assembly . He was chairman of the Standing Commission on Finances and Prices of the District Assembly.
