Erwin Steffen

Erwin Steffen (* 1900 , † after 1952) was a German functionary of the GDR bloc party LDPD . He was chairman of the LDP state board of Brandenburg and a member of the People's Chamber .

Life

Steffen joined the LDP in 1945. 1947/1948 he was a consultant for pricing in the Ministry for Economic Planning Brandenburg. He worked from 1949 to 1951 as general secretary of the LDP regional association Brandenburg. In 1950 he was also a member of the state committee of the National Front in Brandenburg. From 1950 to 1952 he was a member of the Brandenburg state parliament and its vice-president. From 1949 to 1954 he was also a member of the Provisional People's Chamber and the People's Chamber of the GDR.

From March 1951 to 1952 he acted as chairman of the LDPD state committee in Brandenburg and from 1952 to 1954 as chairman of the LDPD district committee in Potsdam . After the administrative reform in the summer of 1952, he held the position of department head at the Potsdam District Council .
