Albert Grundei (life dates unknown) was a German politician ( LDP / DP ). He was the first LDP state chairman in Brandenburg .

Life

In 1945, Grundei was one of the founders of the LDP in the province of Brandenburg . From July 1945 he was a member of the main committee and from February 1946 a member of the central committee of the LDP. When the state association of the LDP in Brandenburg was constituted on December 6, 1945 in Potsdam , Grundei was elected first chairman of the LDP state association. He was confirmed in March 1946. Together with the managing director Karl Friedrich Weise, however, he was suspended in June 1946 by the intervention of the LDP party executive. It turned out that Grundei had given false information on his personal questionnaire: For example, during the Nazi era he had not been arrested for anti-fascist activities, but for smuggling and embezzlement.

When the regional association of the German Party (DP) in Berlin (West) received the license in the summer of 1950, Grundei was appointed third chairman of the DP Berlin by the DP party leadership in Hanover .
