Manfred Bogisch

Manfred Bogisch (born April 15, 1933 in Forst (Lausitz) ) is a German historian and former party functionary of the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany and the Federation of Free Democrats .

Live and act

Bogisch joined the GDR block party LDPD in 1957 and worked full-time in the party apparatus from 1961.

In 1969, he was together with Rudolf Agsten submitted work The development of the anti-fascist and anti-imperialist attitude among members of the Liberal Democratic Party (the party founded by 1 party congress in July 1946) at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg Dr. phil. PhD . The dissertation contains extensive source material; the authors built on this basic work in their later joint work. His PhD B to Dr. sc. phil. took place in 1976 on the basis of the work written together with Agsten The LDPD on the way to the GDR. On the history of the LDPD in the years 1946–1949 by the Academy of Sciences in Berlin .

Manfred Bogisch worked from 1981 to 1990 as a research assistant and personal advisor to LDPD chairman Manfred Gerlach and from 1990 in the same function for BFD chairman Rainer Ortleb . After reunification , he worked in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Ministry of Economics .

The SPD politician Frank Bogisch is his son.
