Hans-Georg Türstig

Hans-Georg Türstig (born February 18, 1949 in Essen ) is a German author and translator .

Live and act

After graduating from high school, Hans-Georg Türstig dropped out of studies at the Karlsruhe Art Academy and studied Indology at the Universities of Freiburg and Bonn from 1970 to 1973 . From 1973 to 1975 he continued his studies in India at the University of Pune in Pune . After his return he worked as a research assistant at the University of Heidelberg , where he worked in 1979 with Jyotisa. The system of Indian astrology for Dr. phil. received his doctorate .

After graduating, he lived in India for 13 years, where he met Indian spiritualists , musicians and artists. There he was given the name Sautamali and published his experiences in several papers. From 2000 to 2005 he lived in Santa Fe , New Mexico .

Hans-Georg Türstig has lived in Berlin since 2006 and is dedicated to net art .
