Hans-Gerd Ridder

Hans-Gerd Ridder (born June 24, 1951 in Wuppertal ) is a German economist .

Life

Ridder was born in 1981 at the comprehensive university in Wuppertal with the dissertation functions of job evaluation. A contribution to the reorientation of ergonomics to the Dr. rer. oec. PhD. In 1988 he completed his habilitation with the thesis Technological Development and Continuity of Business Administration . In 2000 he was for research purposes at the University of Michigan , in 2007 at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (guest professorship 2008/09) and in 2009 at the University of British Columbia .

From 2013 to 2014 he was dean of the economics faculty at Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University in Hanover , where he holds a professorship for general business administration , personnel and work.

From 2001 to 2002 he was deputy chairman of the Association of University Lecturers for Business Administration (VHB). Ridder was co-editor or managing editor of the Zeitschrift für Personalforschung .
