Hans-Jörg Schramm

Hans-Jörg Schramm (born July 7, 1935 in Freital , Saxony ; † October 20, 2015 ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Hans-Jörg Schramm came to Emsland from the Soviet occupation zone in 1946 and attended a high school with a humanistic focus in Meppen from 1946 to 1954. He then completed an apprenticeship as a retail salesman in the textile industry in the same place. In 1957 he joined the Bundeswehr , where he worked in the technical and automotive sectors at a number of locations. With his election to the Lower Saxony state parliament, he was decommissioned as a lieutenant colonel in May 1982 .

He was a member of the CDU Federal Committee for Security Policy. He took over the chairmanship of the supervisory board of Reise- und Verkehrsbüro Oldenburg GmbH and was also a member of the shareholders' meeting there. In Oldenburg he was a member of the city council from 1974 to 1996. He acted as deputy alderman, was a member of the board of the CDU parliamentary group, a member of the culture committee and chaired the Oldenburg building and planning committee.

In the 10th electoral period (June 21, 1982 to June 20, 1986) Hans-Jörg Schramm was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament for the Oldenburg-Nord constituency.

He was married and had three children. He was a Protestant and legal knight of the Order of St. John .
