Hans-Jürgen Amelung

Hans-Jürgen Amelung (born March 27, 1924 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a former German bank manager .

Life

The son of the military doctor Robert Amelung and Ilse, b. Sieverling, was drafted into the Wehrmacht after attending school and afterwards took part in the Second World War as an officer in the Navy . He then studied law at the Philipps University of Marburg . In 1952 he passed the second state examination in law. In 1953 he was at Marburg University with the theme Economic and Ideal club for doctor of law doctorate .

Amelung had worked for Industriekreditbank AG since 1953 . He became director in 1958 and a deputy member of the board in 1970, to which he was a member from 1973 to 1988.

In addition, he was a long-standing member of the board of directors of the Reconstruction Loan Corporation and published a number of specialist articles.

Hans-Jürgen Amelung has been with Christa, geb. Praetorius, married and has two children.
