Hans-Jürgen Netz

Hans-Jürgen Netz (born March 22, 1954 in Bredstedt , North Friesland ) is a German lyricist specializing in New Spiritual Song .

After studying social pedagogy in Düsseldorf, he worked for 12 years as a social pedagogue with a focus on “extracurricular child labor” at the St. Thomas Church in Düsseldorf. Since 1973 he has worked with the German Evangelical Church Congress .

He has been writing lyrical texts for New Spiritual Songs and children's songs since 1972 . They found acceptance in the Catholic Praise for God , in the hymn book of the Evangelical Methodist Church and in the Evangelical hymnal .

Hans-Jürgen Netz lives and works in Oelde in Westphalia.
