Hans-Joachim Brüning

Hans-Joachim Brüning (born November 11, 1934 in Großenlüder , Fulda district ) was a judge at the German Federal Court of Justice from 1987 to 1999 .

After completing his legal training, Brüning joined the judicial service of the Free State of Bavaria in 1963 . 1966 appointed regional judge at the regional court Munich II . In 1970 he was appointed First Public Prosecutor at the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Regional Court of Munich II and in 1973 he was promoted to judge at the Higher Regional Court at the Munich Higher Regional Court . In 1976 Brüning returned to the Munich District Court II as presiding judge. Until his appointment as judge at the Bavarian Supreme Court in 1985, he was chairman of a jury chamber there .

In 1987, Mr. Brüning was elected judge at the Federal Court of Justice. The Presidium of the Federal Court of Justice assigned him to the 4th and from July 1988 to the 1st criminal division, of which he was a member until he retired.
