Hans-Joachim Menge (born June 14, 1947 in Dortmund ) is a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and grammar school , he initially served in the armed forces for two years, before studying law at the University of Bochum . After the first and second state exams , Lot worked as a lawyer and notary .

He had been a member of the CDU since 1972. From 2004 to 2015 he was mayor of the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Oer-Erkenschwick .

From July 6, 1988 to May 30, 1990 crowd was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia. He moved up on his party's national list.
