Hans-Joachim Schellberg (born October 2, 1947 in Duisburg ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The midfielder Hans-Joachim Schellberg began his career at TuS Duisburg 48/99 , which merged into the Eintracht Duisburg club in 1964 . In the summer of 1967 Schellberg moved to the Bundesliga club MSV Duisburg , where he was not used in the professional team. Two years later he moved to the regional league team DJK Gütersloh before moving on to TuS Neuendorf in 1971 . In the summer of 1973, he was transferred to 1. FC Saarbrücken , with whom he was runner-up in the Regionalliga Südwest a year later. In the promotion round to the Bundesliga, the Saarlanders failed to Eintracht Braunschweig , so that the club now continued to play in the newly created 2nd Bundesliga . There, however, Schellberg was only used twice and continued his career in Chile from 1975 . He first played for Deportes Concepción for three years before ending his career at CF Universidad de Chile . Hans-Joachim Schellberg completed two second division games and 115 regional league games, in which he scored 18 goals.
