Hans-Joachim Schorbening

Hans-Joachim Schorbening (born May 5, 1934 in Berlin ; † March 9, 2014 ) was a German theater actor and news anchor.

Scherbeing began his professional career after graduating from high school and taking acting lessons at the Städtische Bühne Ulm , where he was engaged from 1956 to 1959. He then went to the theaters of Karlsruhe and Heidelberg .

From 1961 he was radio announcer for the Hessischer Rundfunk . From January 2, 1963, Scherening was the news anchor for the Hessenschau until his retirement in 1999. His voice became famous all over the country because for years he read the weather report and the outlook for the coming days on the daily news . In 2010 he had his last public appearance on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Tagesschau weather map . In the last years of his career, Scherbening led groups of visitors through the Hessischer Rundfunk site.
