Hans-Peter Boy (born February 10, 1964 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German soccer player .

Player career

Hans-Peter Boy started playing soccer at Sportfreunde 04 in Frankfurt am Main . He switched to Eintracht at the age of 13 . The 1.81 m tall social security clerk went on loan to the 2nd Bundesliga for FSV Frankfurt for the second half of the 1982/83 season . There he made his debut in the game at MSV Duisburg on January 8 , when he came on for Andreas Koch in the 61st minute. In the course of the second half of the season, Boy developed into a regular player at FSV, but could not prevent relegation from the 2nd Bundesliga. In the 2: 6 defeat at Darmstadt 98 , Boy scored the only goal of his professional career on May 14, 1983.

From the Bundesliga season 1983/84 Boy belonged to the professional squad of Frankfurt Eintracht. However, he had to be patient for almost a year and a half before his first Bundesliga appearance. It was not until December 8, 1984 that coach Dietrich Weise sent him onto the pitch for Martin Trieb in the 31st minute of the home game against Borussia Mönchengladbach . In the course of the second half of the season, Boy played his way into the team. But in the following Bundesliga season 1985/86 , Trainer Weise focused more on experienced players and less on the younger generation. Boy only came to a single mission for Eintracht and then moved to the Hessian league for SpVgg Bad Homburg . In 1989 he was in the final of the German amateur championship with SpVgg .

In 1990 he returned from Bad Homburg to Frankfurt and played there until 1992 at Rot-Weiss and in 1992/93 again for one season at FSV in the lower divisions. He is currently a board member and trainer at SV 1926 Calbach.
