Hans-Peter Fecht (born December 11, 1949 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

In the 1968/69 round, the talented winger Hans-Peter Fecht drew attention to himself with impressive performances at SV Sandhausen in the 1st Amateur League North Baden . Sandhausen took third place in North Baden and fencing was noticed by the North Baden association trainer Herbert Widmayer . He took him over to his squad for the competition of the amateur country cup . Fecht stormed on the right wing of North Baden in the quarter-finals against the Middle Rhine, in the semifinals against Saarland and also in the successful final on June 29, 1969 in Harburg against the hosts Hamburg. Despite Horst Wohlers and Bernd Lorenz in the ranks of the Hamburgers, the Widmayer protégés decided the final with 2-1 goals for themselves.

Fecht got a contract with Bundesliga club 1. FC Kaiserslautern for the 1969/70 round . Under coach Gyula Lóránt he made his first competitive game in the 1969/70 season in the Bundesliga. He came on as a substitute for Hans Ripp on the 33rd match day against 1. FC Köln after 67 minutes . In the 1970/71 season he came to seven goalless Bundesliga games and two appearances in the DFB Cup . He didn't score a goal there either and was eliminated in the round of 16 with 0: 5 against Bayern Munich . In the 1971/72 season he was not used at Kaiserslautern. His career ended in the summer of 1973 as a result of a traffic accident.
