Hans Albert Lauer

Hans Albert Lauer (born March 11, 1942 in Spiesen ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

After elementary school, Lauer attended vocational school and trained as a surveying technician . Most recently he worked as a technical employee at the State Conservatory Office. Lauer is married and has two children. He lives in Spiesen-Elversberg .

Lauer joined the SPD in 1965. From 1975 to 1977 he was Juso chairman in Neunkirchen and from 1978 to 2000 he was chairman of the SPD community association Spiesen-Elversberg. He has been a member of the Spiesen-Elversberg municipal council since 1974. In 1980 Lauer, who was also a member of the ÖTV, was elected to the Saarland state parliament, in which he held a mandate for a total of five legislative periods until 2004. From 1985 he was chairman of the mine safety committee.
