The Hans-Brandenburg group consists of car showrooms and authorized dealers for BMW and Mini with four separate LLCs in Mettmann , Dusseldorf , Dormagen and Hilden . In 2011, the Hans Brandenburg Group ranked 97th among the 100 largest new car dealer groups in Germany.
history
The car dealership was founded in 1969 in Düsseldorf by Hans Brandenburg and Harald Wolf as Brandenburg & Wolf oHG . In 1979 the company moved to Düsseldorf-Hellerhof . In 1990, Harald Wolf withdrew from the entrepreneur, which was continued by Hans Brandenburg alone and converted into a GmbH in 1991. In 1999 Automobile Kesting in Hilden was taken over and renamed Hans Brandenburg GmbH Hilden. In 2002 a new car dealership was built in Mettmann . In 2008 the BMW dealership Huntgeburth in Dormagen was taken over and renamed Hans Brandenburg GmbH Dormagen.
Hans Brandenburg was the main sponsor of the SV Hilden-Nord soccer club and sponsor of the Hellerhof sports club and VfL Benrath .
