Hans Brunow (actor)
Hans Brunow , completely Hans Bruno Bernhard Dehn ( February 5, 1865 in Graudenz - March 8, 1915 in Charlottenburg ) was an Austrian pianist , stage actor and singer ( tenor ).
Life
The son of a military officer worked as a pianist from 1885 to 1892, then devoted himself to the profession of conductor, and in 1894 was appointed répétiteur at the royal court opera in Berlin, where his tenor voice was noticed. At the instigation of general manager Bolko von Hochberg , he was sent to Heinrich Graf von Pückler in Silesia for singing training and began his singing career at the court theater in Karlsruhe . In 1897 he came to Zurich , 1898 to Rostock and in 1900, after successfully completing a guest performance as "Walter von Stolzing" and "Rhadames", he joined the Darmstadt City Theater Association, where he gained recognition for his beautiful, powerful voice and his playing.
His life after 1902 is unknown.
