Hans Buwert

Hans Buwert (born July 29, 1897 in Berlin ; † December 31, 1989 in Cologne ) was a German business law expert and auditor .

Life

Hans Buwert was married to Christa Buwert (1918–2014). He took part in the First World War and lost his right eye to a shrapnel.

In 1930 he received his doctorate in law . In 1931 he was managing director of Markwart-Verlag G. mb H., Berlin-Friedenau.

In 1935 Hans Buwert was Otto Mönckmeier's († 1966) deputy as Reichsgruppenwalter of the National Socialist Legal Guards Association . For him, the totality of the Volkish State naturally extended to the realm of the economy. From 1935 to 1945 he was the chief editor of the Nazi campaign journal “Die nationale Wirtschaft”. In April 1938, Hans Frank appointed him “Reichsuntergruppenwalter Wirtschaftstreuhänder”.

Hans Buwert was employed by the French Military Commander (MBF) Carl-Heinrich von Stülpnagel Gruppe Feindrechte (Wi I / 2) Hotel Majestic 19 Avenue Kléber . In Paris, the Hachette group was placed under fiduciary management as enemy assets and in April 1941 Hans Buwert was entrusted by the Foreign Office with the provisional management of the French publishing house with the highest circulation. Hans Buwert was a member of the SS with the number 10804 . In 1954 he was one of the founding members of the Citizens' Association , which in Cologne provided office furniture for the Federal Association of German Industry, complementary to the Marshall Plan, for party funding. When it became apparent that this association was more than exhausting the legal framework, he replaced Walther Leisler Kiep as managing director.

Buwert died in 1989 at the age of 92. His grave is in the Melaten cemetery in Cologne (hall 78).
