Hans Cain (medic)

Hans Cain (born May 12, 1919 in Stendal ; † June 11, 1983 in Stuttgart ) was a German physician .

Life

Cain was a member of the Germania Würzburg fraternity . He was a pathologist and worked in Nuremberg and Würzburg . In 1964 he moved to Stuttgart. A department for immunopathology and electron microscopy and a cytological laboratory were established there in 1968 under his direction .

In 1978 he was elected chairman of the German Society for Pathology .

His son is the archaeologist Hans-Ulrich Cain .
