Hans Eberhard Lorenz

Hans Eberhard Lorenz (born March 3, 1951 ) is a German judge .

Lorenz was presiding judge of the Grand Criminal Chamber at the Mainz Regional Court . Here he headed two of the three main proceedings of the Worms Trials in the 1990s .

During the 39th Bundestag of the German Football Association in October 2007, Lorenz was elected chairman of the DFB sports court by the delegates' assembly. This activity in the highest control body of the German Football Association is voluntary . Lorenz is considered a " luminary in DFB sports jurisdiction".

Lorenz lives in Wöllstein in Rhineland-Hesse . He is the father of three children.
