Johann "Hans" Eder (also Johann Ederer, Hans Ederer) (born November 26, 1880 in Cham ; † September 17, 1966 there ) was a German politician ( BBB ; CSU ).

Live and act

Johann Eder was born the son of a farmer. After attending elementary school and secondary school, which he left after two years, he completed an apprenticeship as a tailor. After attending the advanced training school in Cham, he took over his father's agriculture in Cham in the Upper Palatinate.

After the First World War, Eder began to get involved politically in the Bavarian Farmers' Union (BBB). As an association functionary, he took over the chairmanship of the district chamber of farmers in Cham. In 1929 he also became a member of the board of the Chamer Heimatzeitungs-Verein and volunteer editor of the same. From May 1928 to July 1932, Eder was a member of the Reichstag for the BBB as a member of constituency 25 (Lower Bavaria).

After the Second World War, Eder began to be politically active again. In 1948 he joined the CSU. For this he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from 1946 to 1954 .
