Hans Ehgartner

Hans Ehgartner (born February 28, 1910 in Vienna ; † September 7, 1999 there ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and businessman. From 1959 to 1962 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

Ehgartner attended a lower secondary school after elementary school and then graduated from a commercial academy. In 1928 he completed his schooling with the Matura. After various activities in the private sector such as the chemical industry, in food imports as well as in the textile and motor vehicle accessories trade, he became a department manager in an Austrian automobile factory. In 1938 he started his own business as a businessman. Ehgartner was awarded the professional title of commercial councilor .

From 1945 Ehgartner became involved as the professional group chairman of the vulcanizers in Austria and from 1950 was chamber councilor of the trade section of the Chamber of Commerce for Vienna. In 1955 he took over the position of head of the Vienna regional committee for the trade in automobiles, motorcycles and their tires and accessories, and ultimately rose to become vice chairman of the trade section of the Chamber of Commerce for Vienna. Ehgartner represented the ÖVP in the National Council between June 9, 1959 and December 14, 1962.

Hans Ehgartner was buried at the Hernals cemetery .
