Hans Ehinger (journalist)

Hans Ehinger-Herrmann (born December 27, 1902 in Basel ; † May 17, 1966 there ) was a Swiss music writer.

Live and act

Ehinger studied at the University of Basel and at the Humboldt University in Berlin as well as at the Basel Conservatory . In 1927 he was promoted to Dr. phil received his doctorate and worked from 1928 on the Swiss music newspaper . He later also worked for the Basler Nachrichten and the Neue Zürcher Zeitung .

His work on the music journalistic work of Friedrich Rochlitz deserves special mention .
