Hans Ernst from the Winckel (the much-used)

Hans Ernst from the Winckel (* 1626 in Schierau ; † November 6 or 7, 1695 ibid) was the Princely Saxon court master and Privy Councilor in Merseburg .

Life

Winckel is the son of Hans Ernst from the Winckel (the distributing party) and his wife Ursula von Möllendorff .

In 1651 Hans Ernst from the Winckel was accepted into the Fruit-Bringing Society . He was given the company name of the much-used and the motto for food . As emblem to him was Sugarloaf allotted. Winckel's entry can be found in the Köthen Society Book of the Fruit-Bringing Society under number 534.

On November 3, 1660, Hans Ernst from the Winckel, together with his brother Hans Titus, was enfeoffed by Duke Christian I of Saxony-Merseburg with the property of their deceased father. Duke Christian II of Saxony-Merseburg renewed this fief on June 29, 1692: this time, however, only for him, as he and his brother had contractually shared the paternal inheritance on April 13, 1671 in Merseburg. Shortly before his death, the loan was renewed on October 3, 1695.

Hans Ernst from the Winckel died in 1695 at the age of 69 on his Schierau estate and left behind numerous passive debts.

He was married in his second marriage to Martha Elisabeth von Pflug from the Strehla family and left behind the sons Johann (Hans) Ernst, Christian (born September 18, 1678) and Friedrich Abrahem from the Winckel from his first marriage.
