Hans Förster (actor)

Hans Förster ( December 24, 1852 in Halle - January 10, 1892 in Braunschweig ) was a German theater actor and director .

Life

Förster, trained by his father August Förster and the lecturer Alexander Strakosch , began his acting career in autumn 1872 at the City Theater in Brno, then was in Rostock, Chemnitz, Mainz from 1877 to 1822 at the City Theater in Leipzig, under the direction of his father, from 1883 until 1884 in Nuremberg, engaged in Budapest from 1884 to 1887, until in the last year he received a call to the Braunschweiger Hoftheater (inaugural role: "Narciß"). There he worked as a character actor and director and died there on January 10, 1892.

He was married to the actress Emmy Mauthner in April 1885, and his brother Heinrich Förster was also an actor.
