Hans Fiedler (art historian)

Hans Fiedler (born November 17, 1891 in Bamberg ; † 1989 ibid) was a German high school teacher , classical philologist and art historian .

Life

Fiedler was in 1914 at the University of Erlangen in the subject Classical Philology at Otto Stählin Dr. phil. PhD. From 1916 to 1919 and from 1920 he was a teacher of philological and historical subjects at the New Gymnasium in Bamberg. From 1950 he taught as senior director of studies at the old grammar school before he retired in 1956.

He published several works on Bamberg's art history.
