Hans Forkel

Hans Forkel (born April 28, 1936 in Coburg ; † September 22, 2014 ) was a German law scholar and university professor .

Life

He studied law in Munich , Cologne and Erlangen . In 1958 he passed his first state examination in law and in 1961 his doctorate at the University of Erlangen with Heinrich Hubmann . After the second state examination in 1963, he was a research assistant in Erlangen. After his habilitation in 1970 in Erlangen with Heinrich Hubmann, he taught as a professor at the University of Würzburg .

His main areas of activity were civil law, commercial law, corporate law, industrial property rights, copyright, personal rights and intellectual property rights - protection and licenses.
