Hans Grünhut
Hans Grünhut (* 1902 in Vienna , † 1979 in Amsterdam ) was an Austro-Dutch singer.
Life
In the early 1930s, Grünhut was the band vocalist in Charly Gaudriot's jazz orchestra , which accompanied the singer on recordings for Odeon . A number of hits emerged from this, z. Partly from well-known sound films like I put on rose-colored glasses (from A sweet secret , directed by Frederic Zelnik ) and the song Wie tell's my husband, known from Renate Müller (from the sound film of the same name by Reinhold Schünzel ).
In 1932 Grünhut moved to Amsterdam, where he appeared in various operettas in the following years . He worked u. a. in the Nederlandse Operastichting with Willy Caron, Marco Bakker, Cora Canne Meijer and Wilma Driessen. In 1950 he became a Dutch citizen .
