Hans Hartvig Seedorff Pedersen (born August 12, 1892 in Aarhus , † January 19, 1986 ) was a Danish poet.

Life

After graduating, Seedorff worked as a journalist in his hometown and later in Copenhagen. As an employee of the Danish embassy in Saint Petersburg, he was an eyewitness to the October Revolution of 1917. After traveling around the world, he settled in Tibirke. From 1958 he lived in Bakkehuset in Frederiksborg, the former home and museum of the writer Knud Lyne Rahbek and his wife Kamma .

Seedorff made his debut as a poet in 1916 with the band Vinløv og Vedbend . This was followed by Fra Danmark til Dvina (1918), Mod Fremdmede Stjaerner (1919), De syngende Palmer , De hunderde Veje . Cheerful poems such as De er fin med Kompasset , 14 Mand og Hera and Tre Roevere fra Rold were distributed throughout Denmark. After a break, the I Dagningen collection was published in 1928 , followed by ritornelles in the style of Emil Aarestrup . Worry Fris Viser was set to music by Niels Clemmensen .
