Hans Henn (politician)

Hans Henn (born January 29, 1899 in Halle ; † August 26, 1958 ) was a German politician ( FDP , FVP , DP ).

Hans Henn was an economist. From 1927 to 1933 he was managing director of the economic associations of the German People's Party , most recently in Dortmund . After 1933 he carried out scientific work. From 1936 to 1945 he was managing director of the construction industry group, most recently in Poznan .

In 1945 he joined the Liberal Democratic Party of Germany and had been in a leading position at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) Halle from 1946 . In 1950 he fled to West Berlin . Henn, who holds a doctorate, was a member of the German Bundestag from February 1, 1952 to 1957, as a Berlin MP . Originally elected for the FDP, he left the party on February 23, 1956 with the so-called " Euler Group" and took part in the founding of the FVP, which was absorbed into the German party in 1957 .
