Hans Houtzager

Hans Houtzager (actually Johan Frederik Marie Houtzager; born August 26, 1910 in Honselersdijk , province of South Holland ; † December 29, 1993 in Beilen ) was a Dutch hammer thrower .

At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 he was eliminated from the qualification.

In 1946 he was fifth at the European Athletics Championships in Oslo and in 1948 twelfth at the Olympic Games in London .

He was Dutch champion 13 times (1935, 1936, 1938–1940, 1942, 1946–1952). He set his personal best of 55.51 m on July 15, 1939 in The Hague .
