Hans Junius (born May 26, 1888 in Neumünster , † January 22, 1968 in Hohenlimburg ) was a German industrialist.

Hans Junius was the son of the piano manufacturer in Hagen Heinrich Junius (piano factory Roth & Junius ). After attending school and graduating from high school in Hagen in 1907, he studied law at the universities of Göttingen, Münster and Berlin. In Göttingen he became a member of the Corps Hannovera . He completed his legal traineeship in 1910 in the district of the Hamm Higher Regional Court and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. He did military service from 1914 to 1918 as a reserve lieutenant in a field artillery regiment. During the war in 1917 he married Margret Wälzholz, daughter of the Hohenlimburg industrialist Ludwig Wälzholz . After passing the assessor exam in 1920, he joined the company of his father-in-law CD Wälzholz, first as in-house counsel and in 1921 as a member of the management. CD Wälzholz enjoyed a great boom as a rolled steel manufacturer in the 1920s and was also involved in programs in the armaments industry. In 1937, when his father-in-law Ludwig Wälzholz retired, Hans Junius became a personally liable partner in the fourth generation of the family. Towards the end of the Second World War, production had to be cut back in parts due to a lack of raw materials and shut down. Forced labor was also used for production during the war . The production facilities of CD Wälzholz were spared the effects of the Second World War, but were only allowed to be gradually put back into operation by Hans Junius from 1946 after the Allied military government had given him the necessary production permits. In 1953 Hans Junius handed over the management to the next generation of the family company founded in 1829.
