Hans Kämper (born January 18, 1931 ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper who was in goal for BSG Stahl Altenburg in 1951/52 in the GDR Oberliga , the highest league in GDR soccer .

Athletic career

When BSG Stahl Altenburg in the GDR Oberliga had lost 3-1 after losing to bottom unit Pankow on matchday 31 of the 1951/52 season and relegation had come dangerously close, player- coach Herbert Klemig drew consequences and set the next Matchday three young and unspent players from whom he still hoped a turnaround. Among the newcomers was the 21-year-old goalkeeper Hans Kämpfer, who had previously played a league game. In the remaining seven games, the Altenberger only achieved two wins and two draws, but lost three times with 19 goals conceded, so that relegation could no longer be prevented. Fighter was used in all seven games and had to accept a total of 25 goals. Herbert Klemig still held on to fighters in the GDR league season 1952/53, in which the Altenburg team now competed as BSG Motor, and put him in the gate in 19 of the 24 league games. After two seasons, Hans Kampfer had played eight league games and 19 GDR league games, but then disappeared from the football stage.
