Hans Kersig

Hans Kersig (born December 18, 1902 in Kiel ; † October 26, 1973 there ) was a German politician ( FDP ).

Life

Kersig attended high school and graduated from high school there. He studied business administration and economics as well as law in Kiel and Frankfurt with a diploma and doctorate. This was followed by a banking apprenticeship at the Landschaftliche Bank in the province of Schleswig-Holstein , whereupon he was authorized signatory of the Schleswig-Holstein homestead and deputy syndic of the Schleswig-Holstein Building Cooperatives Association. After that he was an authorized signatory, later director of the Landesbank and Girozentrale Schleswig-Holstein , independent businessman and owner of the company Dr. Hans Kersig and its subsidiary as well as the North German construction company, at the same time he was also the managing director of this company.

In October 1953 Kersig became a member of the FDP , where he was chairman of the economic and development committee in Schleswig-Holstein. From 1954 to 1958 he was a member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein and parliamentary representative of the Minister of Justice. He was also chairman of the economic committee and deputy chairman of the committee for work and development. From 1959 to 1969 he was a member of the Advisory Board of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation .

Kersig was married to Karla, née Gäde, and had three sons with her.
