Hans Kirchhoff (politician)

Hans Kirchhoff (born June 25, 1913 in Bochum ; † November 25, 1994 ) was a German politician ( center ). From 1952 to 1954 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

Hans Kirchhoff first attended elementary school , later a commercial school and the administration academy in Bochum. After completing his administration apprenticeship, he became an administrative clerk. Kirchhoff was the chief inspector of the Ruhrknappschaft.

Kirchhoff was a member of the Center Party from 1931 to 1933, in 1946 he rejoined the party, which was re-established after the war, and became party chairman in Bochum. In 1947 Kirchhoff became a union member, later he joined the public services, transport and traffic union (ÖTV). In 1948 he became a member of the works council of the Ruhrknappschaft in Bochum. Kirchhoff moved up on January 3, 1952, during the second electoral term, in the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament. He was a member of parliament until the end of the legislature on July 4, 1954.

In October 1954, Kirchhoff became police director in Duisburg . From 1954 to 1962 he was head of the North Rhine-Westphalian water protection police department. Then from 1962 until his retirement in 1978 he was police chief of Essen.
