Hans Kuhn (Mayor)
Hans Kuhn (born March 15, 1912 ; † May 19, 1996 ) was a German local politician ( CDU ) and from 1960 to 1977 full-time mayor or lord mayor of the district town of Homburg .
Career
Kuhn was elected full-time mayor of the city of Homburg by the Homburg city council in 1960. Due to the territorial and administrative reform of 1974 , the city has been run by a Lord Mayor since 1974, which is why Kuhn carried this title from 1974 to 1977.
In 1977 Kuhn was made an honorary citizen of Saarland University. On February 19, 1982, he was the first to be awarded the Citizen Medal of the City of Homburg.
