Hans Kurt Luh

Hans Kurt Luh (* around 1934; † 2008 ) was a German novelist and book author .

Career

Luh was a teacher at the Butzbacher Weidigschule and most recently at the Adolf-Reichwein-Schule in Watzenborn-Steinberg , where he worked as a coordinator. Moreover, Luh belonged from 1968 to 1976 the municipal council Leihgestern on. He headed the branch of the adult education center in Leihgestern for 35 years. A trip together with the veterinarian Gerhard Kielwein, who lives in the same place, to Paris in 1977 gave the impetus to write a book about cheese. The richly illustrated encyclopedia appeared in 1979. This was followed by other books on international, especially French, cuisine. Luh lived in loan yesterday. He was the initiator of the Linden exhibition series "Galerie im Rathaus", where he organized 66 exhibitions from 1987 to 2000.
