Hans Lutwitzi

Johannes Albert "Hans" Lutwitzi (born February 8, 1918 in Metz , Lorraine , † May 1, 1999 in Mainz ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

After attending elementary school and the humanistic grammar school, Lutwitzi completed an apprenticeship as a banker at Sparkasse Pirmasens, which he completed in 1936 with the final apprenticeship examination. He then worked as an inspector at the Kreissparkasse Pirmasens . In 1933 he was briefly imprisoned by the Gestapo on the basis of a cartoon by Hitler . After 1945 he worked as a savings bank director in Pirmasens . He also acted as a board member of AOK Pirmasens.

Lutwitzi was HJ comrade leader from 1934 to 1937 . From 1939 he did Reich Labor Service and then took part in the Second World War as a soldier until 1945 , most recently as a sergeant. On March 14, 1946, due to his previous membership in the HJ, he was downgraded by two salary levels from the Neustadt Central Judicial Chamber.

Lutwitzi joined the CDU in 1946. He was founding chairman of the Junge Union Pirmasens, member of the district committee of the JU Palatinate and member of the state committee of the JU Rhineland-Palatinate. From 1948 he was councilor in Pirmasens and chairman of the CDU parliamentary group there. In the state elections in 1955 , he was elected to the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament, to which he belonged until 1959. In Parliament he was a member of the Main Committee and the Petitions Committee.
