Hans Münstermann

Hans Münstermann , actually Lutgardus Johannes Münstermann (born June 16, 1947 in Arnhem ), is a Dutch writer who also published under the pseudonym Jan Tetteroo .

Münstermann's novels are about the life of the fictional person Andreas Klein . Klein is the son of a German and a Dutch woman who married on May 10, 1940. On this very day, Germany invaded the Netherlands, which began the horrors of World War II for the Netherlands . Because of the description by Münstermann that went on for many years, the novels are also called generational novels .

Life

The author has been nominated for literary prizes several times. In 2006 he was awarded the renowned AKO literature prize for the novel De Bekoring , the fifth book from the Andreas Klein series . What went largely unnoticed was that he was also nominated for the Gouden Doerian , the prize for the worst Dutch literary novel, with the same novel .

In addition, Münstermann has formed a scribal duo with Jacques Hendrikx for a number of years. They shared the pseudonym Jan Tetteroo for this duo . Her novels are set against the background of social issues towards the end of the 20th century, and also look back at the past.

Hans Münstermann is married to the actress Marina Duvekot .
