Hans Maria Mole (born December 13, 1940 ) and Basil Wolfrhine (civil: Jürgen Siegler) are two painters and action artists who combine two styles in one painting in their art form The Next Generation .

Career

Basil Wolfrhine began his training with an apprenticeship as a painter , which was followed by further training as a restorer . Hans Maria Mole is a trained master painter, typographer and restorer.

Art style

The two artists Mole & Wolfrhine have been living in the community of Spall in the Soonwald (Rhineland-Palatinate) since 1987 in their imaginatively surreally designed property. In the art form they created, The Next Generation, they always paint a picture together. The predominantly large-format paintings are created by them together, each using their own technique. Hans Maria Mole paints watercolors and creates the monotype , the basis of the works of art. Basil Wolfrhine sets a visual accent with oil or acrylic painting . Surreal dream worlds are shown together. Particularly noticeable is the repeatedly shown elevation, which reveals a view of a picture behind the picture. The admiral, a butterfly , can also be found on almost all of the joint paintings .

Scottish music

Basil Wolfrhine & The Claymore Highlander

Since 1998, Basil Wolfrhine has worked as a musician in his Scottish Pop-Rock project in addition to his collaboration with Hans Maria Mole. In solo performances and with his band “The Claymore Highlander” Scottish tradition and modern entertainment are combined in song and performance at concerts .

Tartan Museum

In 1993, Basil Wolfrhine opened the Tartan Museum in the public part of his estate in Spall. Various topics from Scottish history are documented in the exhibition. In addition to tartans, which are exhibited as fabric samples, a historical tin figure exhibition provides information about the origin, manufacture and historical way of wearing the Scottish highland costume.

SchottenRadio

The internet radio was founded by Basil Wolfrhine in 2008 and is mainly dedicated to the genre of Celtic music. In addition to classical Scottish national music, titles from the fields of folk , rock, pop, metal and classics from Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Germany are played.
