Hans Meinhardt (Manager)

Hans Meinhardt (born May 14, 1931 in Margaretenhaun near Fulda ; † October 24, 2012 ) was a German manager.

Career

In 1951 Meinhardt graduated from high school in Fulda. He then studied economics in Frankfurt am Main and Graz and graduated with a degree in business administration. In 1957 he received his doctorate. rer. pole.

In March 1955 he came to Linde AG and initially worked in the corporate auditing department. From 1980 to 1997 he was CEO of the company and then from 1997 to May 2003 Chairman of the Supervisory Board. From 1979 to 1995 he was also a member of the supervisory board of BMW AG and from 1993 to 2002 chairman of the board of trustees of the Gustav and Grete Schickedanz Foundation.
