Hans Muff (musician)
Hans Muff (born August 2, 1944 in Menznau ; † July 2, 2015 ) was a Swiss music producer, clarinet and saxophone player from the canton of Lucerne .
Life
Thanks to his father Josef Muff, who played the accordion, Hans became familiar with Ländlermusik, and musicians' get-togethers, the so-called Stubeten , were held regularly in Menznauer Stadelboden . Hans Muff learned to play the clarinet during his school days and played in the Menznau field music.
In 1967 he founded his own Ländlerkapelle , which has been called Kapelle Hans & Claudia Muff since 1998 and which is in the concert style of Central Switzerland . Hans Muff was accompanied on the accordion by his daughter Claudia . The traditional, but also adventurous Kapellmeister could look back on many successes. As a producer, music had become a profession for him. Muff died on July 2, 2015 at the age of 70 after a prolonged illness.
