Hans Peter von Kotze

Hans Peter von Kotze (born March 24, 1873 in Klein Oschersleben , † February 3, 1915 in France ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Hans Peter Kotze studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1891 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Göttingen . After graduating, he completed his preparatory service for the Prussian civil service. After he had passed the exam to become a government assessor in 1902 , he initially worked at the Prussian Ministry of the Interior. In 1907 he became the district administrator of the district Wanzleben . Von Kotze was Rittmeister of the Reserve in the King's Uhlan Regiment (1st Hannoversches) No. 13 . At the beginning of the First World War he was first assigned to the Reserve Regiment of his parent unit and later as a company commander of the 1st Company of Reserve Infantry Regiment No. 17. He fell in a storm attack in France. He was married to Gerda Countess Hohenthal . Hans Ludolf von Kotze was his brother.
