Hans Pitschmann

Hans Pitschmann (born November 16, 1919 in Nendeln , Liechtenstein ; † April 7, 2004 in Feldkirch ) was an Austrian politician of the ÖVP .

After elementary school and the humanistic high school in Feldkirch with high school diploma in 1939, he studied law at the University of Innsbruck and received his doctorate in 1947. He also completed his studies in political science in 1949 with his doctorate.

His political path led him from membership in the NSDAP (membership number 7,871.932) via the directorate of the Austrian Economic Association , Landesgruppe Vorarlberg (1949–1982) to his work as Austrian honorary consul in Liechtenstein (1982–1987).

In the ÖVP he was city party chairman for Feldkirch from 1971 to 1972.

From March 14, 1962 to December 31, 1981 he was a member of the Federal Council , of which he was chairman from February 15, 1968 to June 30, 1968 and from July 1, 1981 to December 31, 1981.
