Hans Rübenstrunk (born May 19, 1926 in Radevormwald ; † June 8, 1976 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1954 to 1962 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After graduating from high school , Hans Rübenstrunk did military service in World War II and was taken prisoner. From 1948 he worked as an administrative clerk at the Gelsenkirchen city ​​administration . He passed the specialist examination for the middle and higher service, then he became city inspector and city administrator in Gelsenkirchen, later city ​​director initially in Schötmar, after the merger with Bad Salzuflen in the newly formed city of Bad Salzuflen .

Rübenstrunk was a member of the SPD and was temporarily 1st chairman in the SPD sub-district of Gelsenkirchen. He was also a member of the Public Services, Transportation and Traffic Union . In the state elections in 1954 and 1958, Rübenstrunk was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament as a direct candidate for the SPD in constituency 96 (Gelsenkirchen-West and Gelsenkirchen I); he was a member of parliament from July 13, 1954 to July 20, 1962 . October 1961 until he left the state parliament, Rübenstrunk was chairman of the audit committee, at times he was also deputy chairman of the committee for internal administration (October 21, 1958 to July 20, 1962) and of the special committee to consider the draft law amending the Salary Adjustment Act for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (January 14, 1960 to March 1, 1962).
