Hans Rhyn

Hans Rhyn (born August 2, 1888 in Langenthal ; † June 1, 1967 ) was a Swiss writer .

Rhyn received his doctorate in 1913 with a thesis on Theodor Fontane's arrangements of Old English and Old Scottish ballads, and from 1914 worked as a teacher at high schools in Bern. His literary work was influenced by Rudolf Maria Holzapfel . He was also "on the board of the Guten Schriften Bern and the International Pan-Idealist Association ". In 1942, 1950 and 1958 he was awarded the honorary gift from the literature credit of the city of Bern. His estate is in the Bern Burger Library .
