Hans Robert Hansen

Hans Robert Hansen (born April 22, 1941 in Heidenheim an der Brenz ) is a German-Austrian economist and business IT specialist .

Live and act

Hans Robert Hansen attended elementary school and grammar school in Illertissen from 1947 to 1960 and then did military service in the armed forces . From 1961 he studied business administration and business administration at the universities of Munich , Saarbrücken and Würzburg and graduated in 1967 in Würzburg. He then worked as a research assistant at the University of Würzburg and employed by IBM Germany in Stuttgart . In 1970 he received his doctorate from the University of Würzburg .

From 1974 to 1978 he was professor for business administration and business informatics at the University of Duisburg and from 1978 professor for business administration and business informatics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business . From 1987 to 1991 and from 1998 to 2002 he was rector of the Vienna University of Economics and Business and from 1978 to 1986 head of the EDV-Zentrum. In 2009 he retired .

From 2002 he was a member of the Austrian Accreditation Council and its vice-president from 2005 to 2011.

Hans Robert Hansen is one of the authors of the two-volume book Wirtschaftsinformatik , which has been published in several editions since 1976.
