Hans Schlup

Hans Schlup (born July 2, 1936 - † July 8, 1996 ) was a Swiss officer. From 1989 to 1990 he was head of the Swiss intelligence service .

Schlup was chief instructor of the supply troops before he was promoted to brigadier . In 1993 he was appointed military attaché to the Swiss Embassy in Washington, DC by the Federal Council .

Schlup also worked as a division general in New Delhi . National Councilor Jean Ziegler accused him of participating in the fishing scandal.
